Nigeria is hot and getting hotter, and every air conditioner, freezer and cold room in the country eventually needs somebody who knows what they are doing. Most call outs are handled by people who gas and go.

A technician who can diagnose a fault rather than top up the gas and leave has a business, not a job.

What you will learn

The refrigeration cycle, and why understanding it changes everything

Who this is for

People starting a trade with year round demand

Anyone wanting recurring servicing income rather than one off jobs

💬 Ask About This Course

Certification

ServHub Training is accredited by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment to conduct trade test examinations, and we examine on site. You train here and you test here.

In the Ministry trade categories this course sits under Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. That is the category your certificate will name.

Refrigeration and air conditioning is one of the Ministry trade categories. It is also a trade with genuine demand in several overseas markets.

Certificates are issued at one of three grades:

Grade III, the entry level, for people starting out or newly trained
Grade II, intermediate, for people with working experience behind them
Grade I, advanced, for experienced tradesmen

Which one you sit depends on your trade and how long you have worked in it. Tell us and we will assess it honestly, including if the answer is a lower grade than you hoped.

Programmes and cost

Foundation, N90,000, 90 days, for people starting with no formal training. Around 60 per cent of our students start from zero.

Before you pay anyone

Whether it is us or another centre, ask these:

Are you accredited by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, and can I verify that with the Ministry directly
Which grade will I be sitting, and why that one
Is the certification fee included
Can I see the workshop first
What is your company registration number
