Welding is the trade with the clearest route from training to income in Nigeria. Construction, oil and gas, fabrication workshops, and the overseas market all want certified welders, and the ones who get the work are the ones who can prove their grade.

We train you on real machines with real materials, then examine you on site. You leave with a certificate that is in the Ministry records, not a printout.

What you will learn

Arc welding, the foundation of everything else
MIG and TIG welding, and when each one is the right choice
Pipe welding and positional work, including the harder positions employers test for
Reading a job and setting up the machine correctly for it
Fabrication, measuring, cutting, forming and joining
Electrode selection and why the wrong rod ruins a good joint
Workshop safety, fumes, eyes, fire and electrical risk
Finding and fixing your own faults instead of hiding them

Who this is for

People starting from nothing who want a trade that pays
Apprentices who can weld but have never been certified
Working welders who need a grade that matches their skill
Anyone assembling documents for site work or an overseas application

💬 Ask About This Course

Certification

ServHub Training is accredited by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment to conduct trade test examinations, and we examine on site. You train here and you test here.

In the Ministry trade categories this course sits under Welding and Fabrication. That is the category your certificate will name.

Welding is one of the strongest trades for overseas applications, because the skill is testable anywhere. A welder with a recognised grade and real experience has a case to make. What nobody can give you is a guarantee, and anybody who offers one is selling you something.

Certificates are issued at one of three grades:

Grade III, the entry level, for people starting out or newly trained
Grade II, intermediate, for people with working experience behind them
Grade I, advanced, for experienced tradesmen

Which one you sit depends on your trade and how long you have worked in it. Tell us and we will assess it honestly, including if the answer is a lower grade than you hoped.
